Valiant Comics reveals four launch titles

The relaunch of popular ‘90s comic book imprints continues. Valiant Comics will, after years in the making, return in May 2012. The Valiant properties are under the ownership of Valiant Entertainment, Inc. and they have taken their time to ensure they get the initial launch correct. Valiant finished revealing the starting line up of the new Valiant Universe and it looks as promising as ever.

X-O MANOWAR #1 in May kicks off the new Valiant. The series is written by New York Times-bestselling author Robert Venditti with art by the perfectly chosen Eisner Award-winning Cary Nord (Conan). X-O MANOWAR features the story of Aric of Dacia, a member of the ruling family of the Visigoth barbarians. Captured during battle with an alien race, Aric’s only chance of getting home is to take up an alien suit of armor and battle his way back to Earth.
