The zombies of Comic-Con: The undead take over SDCC yet again

Here’s one for you: What’s dead, frighteningly mobile, and all over Comic-Con? No, not sparkle-vamps. Zombies. Obviously.

The undead are taking over San Diego Comic-Con yet again with a horde of zombie-related events and panels scheduled for this weekend’s annual comic book and pop culture convention. From “The Walking Dead” to “World War Z” to “Resident Evil,” zombies are going to be all over Comic-Con. Passing craze they are not, at the annual nerd Mecca.

For the discerning zombiephile at Comic-Con, we’ve compiled this handy list of zombie-related panels and events . The descriptions are condensed from the Comic-Con program, but the times and locations are subject to updates, so be sure you check the actual program when you get to San Diego. Wouldn’t want to miss your chance to hear the Zombie Research Society expound the history of our favorite flesh-eating ghoul, now would you? All of the scheduled events below have something to do with zombies, even if it’s just that their panels include a cast member from “The Walking Dead.”

Without further ado, we present the zombies of Comic-Con:
