SDCC ‘Twilight’ fans get sneak peek of both ‘Breaking Dawn 2’ and ‘The Host’

[Thursday] night at the San Diego Comic Con,Twilight” Fans were in for a double dose of sneak peak and surprises. They not only got to see the first seven minutes of the new “Twilight: Breaking Dawn 2” movie but also a new clip of Stephenie Meyer’s new science fiction book to movie adaptation “The Host”.

The panel included Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz, Elizabeth Reaser, Mackenzie Foy, and Stephenie Meyer.

The panel opened with the first seven minutes of the final installment of the “Twilight” series, “Breaking Dawn part 2“.

According to fans that were there, the movie clip picks up where “Breaking Dawn, part 1” left off. Simply, Bella awakes as a vampire and begins to realize her powers.

The clip included the one clip that has been shown about Bella and Edward talking about the fact that they are now the same temperature. They then realize that she needs to feed and of course there is a snag in the fact that as she is chasing a deer, a man rock climbing falls and cuts himself. She then sniffs the blood and turns towards him only to have Edward stop her and then chase on after the deer.

It then flips to Jacob meeting the new Bella and Bella mentioning that he stinks and then he asks her if she wants to meet her daughter.

The clip then ended with the Cullens trying to show Bella how to look human before she meets her father again.

After this clip, Meyer entered the stage and began to show a clip of her other movie based on her other book series, “The Host”. A great way to get her already established fan base to pick up this new movie after “Twilight” ends in November. “The Host” is set to release in March of 2013.

Are you excited about the last “Twilight” movie?
