Valiant hits another bullseye with ‘Archer & Armstrong’

The release of Archer & Armstrong #1 marks the final installment of the “Summer of Valiant.” Valiant Comics‘ mega successful relaunch wraps up with another great launch. Archer is a buddy book, starring the immortal drunkard Armstrong and the disciplined, culturally naive Archer. The duo’s efforts to stop a mad cult are written by Fred Van Lente and Clayton Henry. The first issue features a cover by Mico Suayan, with a variant one by the legendary Neal Adams.

Archer has lived his entire life within the gates of an amusement park, training in several forms of martial arts to take down the one man his parents have told him will destroy the world, Armstrong. When Archer is finally sent out into the world to fulfill his mission, he quickly finds out that everything is not as he was led to believe.
