Paparazzi were out in force surrounding the Atlanta, Georgia set of Catching Fire — and over the last few days, dozens of photos have hit the web showing cast members at work.
Many of the photos show cast members in normal clothing, or wearing bathrobes over their costumes. But a few snapshots revealed that the Tributes were wearing what appear to be either training uniforms or arena uniforms: tight, black shirts and pants with white trim. Some of the most recent photos also included Philip Seymour Hoffman as Plutarch Heavensbee, and an unknown actress wearing what appears to be one of the tribute’s uniforms. (Several Catching Fire cast members remain unknown; fans theorize she may be one of the casting announcements that Lionsgate has yet to make.)
Photos of Jennifer Lawrence showed her sporting Katniss’s signature braid, while Josh Hutcherson was seen with his newly-lightened blonde hair. Likewise, photos showed Sam Claflin with bronze highlights in his hair and newly-tanned skin for his role as Finnick Odair.
In a recent interview, Lawrence revealed that while she was initially “devastated” by the news that The Hunger Games director Gary Ross would not return for Catching Fire, that she is thrilled by his replacement. “Francis [Lawrence] is absolutely amazing,” she told reporters. “The actors feel very free; he’s not controlling at all. He knows everything inside and out so you feel supported. I’m really happy.”
Filming on Catching Fire continues Monday. Production will eventually move to Hawaii before wrapping at the end of the year. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire hits theaters November 22, 2013.
