Is trouble brewing on the set of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire?

North Carolina-based reporter Russ Bowen, who faithfully covered last year’s filming of The Hunger Games and has been on top of work on Catching Fire, Tweeted a warning last week:

Don’t read 2 much into it but lots of people have told me mood on #catchingfire set much different than #HungerGames set. Not in good way

Fans, understandably, were upset by this message, because Bowen later Tweeted:

Like I said don’t read too much into it #catchingfire

However, his cryptic message has left some wondering what could be happening with the cast and crew of Catching Fire. It’s no secret that many were upset over the loss of Gary Ross as director, but cast members have also been enthusiastic in their praise of new director Francis Lawrence.

Meanwhile, this news comes on the heels of a report that actor Liam Hemsworth (who plays Gale in the movie) injured himself on set while performing a stunt last week.

“I twisted my knee,” Hemsworth told USA Today. “I try to just fight through it. There’s so many people standing around waiting for you to do your thing. You feel sort of obligated not to let everyone down.”

Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss Everdeen) also had her own gaffe on the set of Catching Fire, though it sounds as if she wasn’t seriously hurt. Peachy Scoop, which covers filming news in Georgia, reported that Katniss fell on stage and flashed the audience her underwear while filming her interview scene.

According to Peachy Scoop, Stanley Tucci joked in character as Caesar Flickerman, that Lawrence had been “drinking on the job again.”
