Superman: Earth One Volume Two leaps single-bound over NYT best sellers list

DC Comics reaps a top spot within the New York Times best seller listing. A volume’s sequel retelling on the hero’s journey to Superman from Clark Kent claims #1 on the Hardcover Graphic Novels category.

The all-new Superman: Earth One Volume Two claiming it for the second week running.

Famed mastermind behind “Babylon 5” and a string of notable comic books J. Michael Straczynski pens another acclaim in this Superman mythology. In 2010 the first volume of Superman: Earth One by Straczynski won the greater bulk of fans’ praise and critics’ high notes. In partnership to the sequentially paneled plot line, the interior art in the responsibility of Shane Black gave many to comment with favorable observances.

Superman: Earth One Volume Two carries the afterwords on the commercially successful character development of a Millennial Kent into the highly identifiable costumed persona of Superman.

DC Comics bookends the Hardcover Graphics Novel leading reads by the New York Times with traditional and contemporary hero motifs. A tenth spot holds the critically acclaimed semi-noir Batman: Court of Owls. This very hardcover collects the first six issues for the DC 52’s revamped Batman title. The brand new series written by author and comics writer Scott Snyder from Detective Comics.
