Robin Sachs dies at age 62

The “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” alum best known for playing Ethan Rayne, old friend and introducer to Giles college bad boy days as “Ripper”, Robin Sachs has passed. The unforgettable episode “Halloween“ was a benchmark in the vampire-slaying series, yet Sachs includes wide recognition in science fiction production “Galaxy Quest”. The British actor had the role of General Roth’h’ar Sarris, the alien conqueror in the sci-fi action-comedy.

In addition to stage, film and television Sachs was a voice-actor with memorable portrayals in top selling video games. For Mass Effect 2(2010) and Mass Effect 3 (2012), his voice acting takes on Zaeed Massani. Before then, Sachs took on multiple characters for Dragon Age: Origins (2009), including: Seneschal Varel, Lord Pyral Harrowmont and Murdock.
