Final Portrait for ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ features Donald Sutherland

Lionsgate has released the the final image in its Capitol Portrait series for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, featuring none other than Donald Sutherland in character as the sinister President Snow.

Released via Yahoo! Movies, Sutherland is seen seated on an ornately adorned red and gold chair, wearing a modern black suit with long jacket, shiny black leather gloves, and a fur scarf draped around his neck. A single white rose is pinned to his lapel — a detail fans will not miss, as the white roses come to be a significant symbol of President Snow.

In fact, in the portraits featuring the Tribute characters – and the lone non-Capitol citizen, Gale – each of the characters is holding a single white rose.

The previously released portraits have included: Finnick, Gale, Peeta, Johanna Mason, Beetee, Katniss (in what could be her wedding dress), Cinna, Haymitch, Caesar, and Effie. Each of the images feature key characters from Catching Fire in formal attire, seated on a chair, and presented as if it’s a formal painted portrait.
