Jennifer Lawrence joined producer Harvey Weinstein at the GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles Saturday night to present former President Bill Clinton with some top honors. But much of the buzz surrounding the actress’s appearance weren’t about gay rights, but rather her new haircut.
Lawrence showed off her newly chopped locks at the GLAAD Media Awards, where she mingled with guests and other stars, before presenting Clinton with the Advocate for Change Award.
Clinton joked that Lawrence (22) was too young to remember his time in office, saying, “She really was like two years old when I became president. I met her backstage and she looked like she was touring the Museum of Natural History.”
Some admins from The Hunger Games fansite The Hob were the lucky winners of a contest to attend the GLAAD Media Awards, and got to meet Lawrence. They told her everyone on Twitter was thrilled with her new ‘do.
The Hob reports the actress quipped in response, “Great, take the focus off of gay rights.”
