‘Batwing’ flies into action

Yesterday saw the release of DC Comics‘ “Batwing” #20, the first full issue depicting the new Batwing, Luke Fox. The adventure is co-written by Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray with pencils by Eduardo Pansica, inks by Julio Ferreira and colors by Jason Wright.

After a brief introduction to Luke Fox last issue, the issue swings into all out action for the new Batwing’s first adventure. Gray and Palmiotti move things along at a breakneck pace, introducing new villains, developing Batwing’s relationship with Batman and creating conflict with his father, Lucius Fox. Not to mention establishing the lead character, himself.

“Batwing” #20 answers some of the larger questions left after last issue’s status quo change, such as whether Batwing will still be the “Batman of Africa.”
