This Tuesday, the long-awaited first batch of DLC for “Injustice: Gods Among Us” was released. Gamers and fans got to play as the alien bounty hunter Lobo and two packs of skins became available as well.
Before the game was even released, NetherRealm Studios teased that four DLC characters will be available throughout the year. Lobo was the first and they revealed Batgirl (Barbara Gordon) to be the second.
Well, finally we get to see her in action as the gaming studio unveiled her gameplay in a nifty little trailer that gave some background on the character — especially her relationship with the villainous Joker.
Speaking of the Joker, in the trailer we even get to see a new skin that will be available for the Clown Prince of Crime. The new skin will be from the graphic novel, “The Killing Joke” where he dons a Hawaiian shirt, shorts, sandals and a sun hat.
And it looks like that won’t be the only skin available when Batgirl is released. Ed Boon, the director of NetherRealm Studios, has said on his Twitter account that there will be more.
“Just WAIT till u see the skins BG comes with!” Boon said.
The time of this release is uncertain, but an announcement will be made soon, according to Boon.
So in the meantime, check out the gameplay trailer and tell us what you think of the character in the comments section below.
