1st trailer for NBC’s new show, ‘Dracula

This morning, May 13, NBC released their first trailer for their new vampire television show premiering this fall, “Dracula“. The trailer shows Dracula as his new persona, Alexander Grayson meeting Mina Murray, a female the looks just like his late wife from centuries before and may very well be his reincarnated wife.

The story takes place in London, when a young American entrepreneur comes to the city during Victorian times. He comes there to bring the modern miracle of science to the strange city.

 

But, he is actually seeking revenge for those that killed his wife and tortured him.

 

Here is a list of the cast members:

 

  • Jonathan Rhys Meyers as Dracula / Alexander Grayson
  • Jessica De Gouw as Mina Murray
  • Oliver Jackson-Cohen as Jonathan Harker, a gauche journalist who’s desperate to climb the ranks of aristocracy
  • Katie McGrath as Lucy Westenra
  • Nonso Anozie as R.M. Renfield, Dracula’s loyal confidante and keeper of secrets
  • Victoria Smurfit as Lady Jane, a fashionable woman who is immediately enticed by the King of Vampires
  • Thomas Kretschmann as Abraham Van Helsing
  • Kretschmann previously played Dracula in the 2012 Italian horror film, Dracula 3D.
  • Michael Nardone as Hermann Kruger

“Dracula” is directed by Andy Goddard from Downton Abbey and Law & Order: UK) fame and Steve Shill from Dexter and Law & Order: Criminal Intent.

 

“Dracula” is set to premiere this fall on NBC.
