2013 Teen Choice Awards heavy with comic book film genre

Anne Hathaway has a covetous contrast at 2013’s Teen Choice Awards. The actress marks a versatile bracket in nominations within Choice Movie Actress: Drama and Choice Movie Actress: Action.

The placement coincides with her two marquis appearances amongst major films “The Dark Knight Rises” and “Les Miserable”. Yet her role as Catwoman puts her part and parcel alongside the comic book movie domain making up the award nominees.

The comic book genre spread out amongst the film categories, betting down the greater chances amidst shared multi-nominees such as “Skyfall”, “Oz: The Great and Powerful” and “G.I. Joe Retaliation”.

“Iron Man 3” leads this year’s comics genre bids. A stone-cold six nominations puts the Robert Downing Jr. starring film. Choice Movie Action, Choice Movie Actor: Action, Choice Movie Actress: Action, Choice Movie: Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Choice Movie Actor: Sci-Fi/Fantasy and Choice Movie Actress: Sci-Fi/Fantasy dole out for the Armored Avenger movie

“The Dark Knight Rises” has three nominations, including Choice Movie Actor: Action.

Tom Cruise’s sci-fi wonder is up for Choice Movie: Sci-Fi/Fantasy and Actor: Sci-Fi/Fantasy.

“Iron Man 3” has completely revitalized its installment reputation with movie-goers on both commercial and review avenues. Where the second installment amassed a ticket sales at a disappointing $623.9 million summary, it also rang dismal with fans of the first blockbuster.

Fox’s 2013 Teen Choice Awards show is set to air on Aug. 11 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
