‘Arrow’ a green swagger favorite at 2013 Teen Choice Awards

For “Arrow”, an up and down pilot season in ratings gains kudos holding a solid triple threat of 2013 Teen Choice nominations in key categories for television.

Choice TV Show: Fantasy/Sci-Fi juxtaposes the reception of Green Arrow’s television adaptation out of DC Comics. Stephen Amell plays wealthy heir Oliver Queen, and with a Choice TV Actor: Fantasy/Sci-Fi inclusion the bon bivant bachelor and player hooding up to aim retribution towards Starling City’s greatest but worst influential has caught fans attention.

Like Oliver, Amell has a full cast around him. Katie Cassidy portrays Laurel Lance and her role has far more complication and romantic pivotals than Lois Lane has in any live action comic bood rendition.

Cassidy made the nominee list for Choice TV Show Actress: Fantasy/Sci-Fi amidst peer bidders of:

• Nina Dobrev, “The Vampire Diaries
• Kristin Kreuk, “Beauty and the Beast”
• Ginnifer Goodwin, “Once Upon a Time”
• Kat Graham, “The Vampire Diaries”

“Arrow” just wrapped up its final season to a ratings . Reviews have been mixed. Still the CW superhero series joins the network’s hot zone leaders such as “The Vampire Diaries” in similar categories for a primary demographic’s award show.

“Arrow” positions alongside member series of CW. The pack covering across Teen Choice awards categories and genres with ranking series “Supernatural”, “Beauty and the Beast”, “Gossip Girl” and forerunning “The Vampire Diaries”.

2013 Teen Choice Awards will air Aug. 11 at 8:00 p.m. ET on Fox.
