Two more actors have joined the cast of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Parts 1 and 2, which began filming Monday in Atlanta.
Lionsgate announced earlier today that Elden Henson would play Pollux and Wes Chatham would play Castor in the movie. The characters are brothers and cameramen who help film propaganda films of Katniss to support the growing rebellion that is the focus of the two-part Mockingjay movies.
Henson’s past film credits include The Butterfly Effect, Lords of Dogtown, and Under the Tuscan Sun, as well as a variety of guest appearances on TV shows such as “Psych,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” and “ER.” Chatham’s credits include The Help and W (with Mockingjay co-star Elizabeth Banks) and TV appearances including “The Mentalist” and “The Unit.”
Cameras began rolling Monday in Atlanta on Mockingjay, which is being split into two films (being shot simultaneously). Though cast and crew are expected to take a break from filming to promote Catching Fire‘s November 22nd release, filming on Mockingjay will continue through May.
