‘NCIS’ and ‘The Originals’ lose viewers to ‘Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’

This morning, October 9, TVLine.com announced the ratings for Tuesday evening and here they are.

Tuesday evenings are packed with three of the best shows on television fighting for the top ratings. “NCIS“, “The Originals” and “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” are all in the Tuesday evening 8:00 pm viewing slot for ABC, CBS, and The CW.

Last week, “NCIS” said goodbye to one of its more popular characters, Ziva David as Cote De Pablo said good bye to the series. “NCIS” had held the ranking of the #1 show on television and of course the #1 show on CBS but it looks as if losing a favorite character may cause “NCIS” to lose this title.

It looks as if “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” got a demo rate of 2.8 over “NCIS” demo rate of a fallen 2.7 thus edging out the show from it’s number one spot.

“The Originals”, the CW spin off of the supernatural vampire show, “The Vampire Diaries” moved to its Thursday evening from its Thursday premiere and lost viewers. Was it the move from Thursday and after “The Vampire Diaries” that caused it to lose viewers? Or the fact that it was up against two other strong shows.

So, which of these shows do you watch?
