DC Entertainment announces ‘Injustice: Gods Among Us’

Before the massive video gaming convention known as E3 kicks off, DC announced their plans for a brand new video game starring plenty of familiar faces.

‘Injustice: Gods Among Us’ is a new fighting game from the makers of Mortal Kombat. From the looks of the video trailer (provided by gamespot), it is sure to pack all of the intense fighting from that franchise, but with all of the iconic comic book characters.

So far, the cast of fighters include: Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Solomon Grundy, the Flash and Harley Quinn and set in a world where the lines between good and evil are blurred.

The game is being developed by NetherRealm Studios and is scheduled for release in 2013 for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Nintendo Wii U.
