Fan camp announced for U.S. premiere of ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’

Fans wanting to camp out for the U.S. premiere of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire have a limited chance to snag one of the coveted spots near the red carpet.

Lionsgate has announced that fans can enter for a chance to win spots at the “Catching Fire Fan Camp” in Los Angeles, taking place November 16-18th – just ahead of the L.A. premiere.

Registration opens tomorrow, October 24th, and will only remain open through October 25th. That gives fans only two days to register for a chance to score one of the coveted fan camp spots.

Lionsgate has not revealed details about what activities fans will be able to participate in, but when The Hunger Games premiered, fans who had camped out got to stand along the red carpet, met with the stars of the movie in a surprise visit, and many also got to see the movie itself.

Fan Camp registration opens at 10am (PT) on Thursday, October 24th – check out the event website now for more details.

Meanwhile, Lionsgate has revealed details about the Catching Fire World Premiere, taking place November 11th in London. The red carpet arrivals will begin at 5:30pm London time (12:30pm ET), and Yahoo! will live stream the entire spectacle.

Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Jeffrey Wright, Willow Shields, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland and Francis Lawrence are all confirmed to appear at the London premiere – and are also expected at the U.S. premiere in Los Angeles.
